Mobile Citizen’s Cassie Bair to Lead NTEN Session on Digital Divide

Feb. 17, 2015

As part of Mobile Citizen’s ongoing research to better understand the digital adoption landscape facing nonprofits and the communities they serve, Cassie Bair is scheduled to lead a session at NTEN’s upcoming Nonprofit Technology Conference in Austin.

Nonprofits and the Digital Divide: New Research and Tips for Getting Started” is scheduled for Wednesday, March 4 at 10:30 a.m. and will feature preliminary findings from the recent benchmark Digital Adoption Survey Mobile Citizen conducted with NTEN.

Representatives from several other organizations already making headway relative to closing the digital divide — EveryoneOn, PCS for People and Google Fiber — are scheduled to join Cassie. They will share their best practices for getting America’s disconnected online and will provide specific examples for addressing access, equipment, training and local partnerships to improve digital adoption and increase access to nonprofit services across the country.
