The nonprofit sector, like the technology sector, often faces criticism for the lack of diversity in both technology and leadership roles. This year’s participatory plenary at the 2015 Nonprofit Technology Conference tackled this important issue.

Moderated by the CEO of the Nonprofit Technology Network Amy Sample Ward the roundtable engaged both the expert panelists and the conference attendees.

Panelists include Jody Mahoney, senior vice president, Anita Borg Institute; Praan Misir, information and database management officer, The Canadian Race Relations Foundation; Emily Phan, CTO, Stand for Children; and Trish Tchume, National Director, YNPN.

Panelists shared their unique perspectives, offered ideas and posed questions for attendees to start the conversation about equity and access in their workplaces.
