A whole slew of new organizations have been added to the Voqal Fund interactive map and national organizations list.
These grants reflect Voqal Fund’s commitment to supporting the dissemination of alternative ideas and building a more engaged public to effect progressive social change and disrupt the status quo.
Highlights from the latest round of grant-making include:
• A grant to The Ballot Initiative Strategy Center, an advocacy organization working to strengthen democracy by building a national progressive strategy for ballot measures.
• A grant to The School Project, a six-part documentary web series exploring the urgent issues currently facing the Chicago Public Schools.
• A grant to OutFront Minnesota, and organization that works to create a safe, equitable and affirming climate for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) people in Minnesota.
