Mobile Citizen is currently looking for a remote, full-time Accountant to join our dynamic, growing team.
The Mobile Citizen Accountant supports the operations of Mobile Citizen by ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded into the general ledger and uses this data to respond to questions on all related company activity.
Duties may include recording transactions into sub-ledgers, reconciliation of transactions, and preparing journal entries with supporting documentation.

Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelors or Associates degree in accounting preferred. In lieu of education, 2-3 years of experience as a Staff/General Ledger Accountant or similar role.
- Ability to keep information confidential.
- Experience reconciling and recording deferred revenue transactions preferred.
- Intermediate Excel skills required.
- Experience with NetSuite preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
The pay for this position is $65,238/yr. Voqal also offers a very generous benefits package including partially paid medical coverage for employees and dependents, partially paid dental and vision, paid LTD, STD, and AD&D. Paid vacation, sick, holidays, and personal time are also offered. We also off a retirement program including profit sharing and 401K plans.
