Voqal is pleased to announce two new grants to organizations working in Minnesota to enhance the community and strengthen social equity. The grants of $25,000 to the Land Stewardship Project and $50,000 to WIN Minnesota reflect Voqal’s commitment to support progressive movements for social change.
The Landship Stewardship Project
The Landship Stewardship Project is dedicated to creating transformational change in rural Minnesota’s food and farming system. With support from Voqal, the Land Stewardship Project will support its rural racial justice work. As it organizes white rural Minnesotans on issues that matter to them, it will make racial justice explicit in the work and engage emerging leaders in training and campaigns that further develop their analysis, skills and relationships.
WIN Minnesota
WIN Minnesota is an alliance of donors dedicated to moving Minnesota forward by supporting the nation’s most sophisticated and effective state-based progressive infrastructure. With Voqal’s support, WIN Minnesota will educate and mobilize everyday Minnesotans to advance progressive issues. In addition, it will work to increase the power of underrepresented communities to ensure they have direct input in the issues that directly affect their lives.
