This is entrepreneurial. Public TV stations are indeed valuable properties. This guy would acquire them, lease some of their spectrum to commercial telecommunication services then plow the proceeds into the mission-side of the networked organization. Makes sense. I’d like to see some deeper digging on his track record before I fully trust this as the best solution for public TV’s survival… but until then, it’s one of the smartest solutions I’ve seen.
