Voqal and Chicago Filmmakers are pleased to announce a call for proposals for the third round of funding through the “Chicago Digital Media Production Fund.” Applications may be submitted online starting on January 30, 2014.
Over the past two years, 22 Chicago-based talented digital media and film-makers have been awarded grants ranging from $1,500 – $10,000 for projects that focus on a variety of relevant social issues. Successful digital media projects have demonstrated a strong community impact, and some have gone on to showcase at film festivals. The Voqal Fund will award a total of $100,000 to digital media makers in 2014.
