As we look forward to the 2022 Voqal Fellowship cohort, we are celebrating the 2021 class of Voqal Fellows. Join us on Tuesday, November 9th from 1:00 p.m. – 3:15 p.m EST on Facebook Live to share inspiration, futuristic visions, music, laughter, and more.
The Fellowship is an investment in individuals as people and budding entrepreneurs. It is both a talent and startup accelerator that gives those historically left on the outside a chance to enact their vision at center stage. In light of that reality, what better way to celebrate the Fellows than to give them that stage?
Molina Speaks is hosting the event. During the event, we will hear from members of the 2021 Voqal Fellowship cohort who will present information on their Fellowship projects. With projects focusing on everything from food justice to racial justice, it is sure to be an inspiring showcase.
In addition, artists ILL se7en and Edwina Maben will share their talents with attendees. ILL Se7en is an activist, community leader, and youth mentor. His vibrant music speaks to the social ills that plague the urban spectrum. Edwina was selected as a top 5 finalist (of 9,000+ songwriters) in Guitar Center’s 2017 national songwriting contest. She is a musician who consistently creates and finds new opportunities for herself through her passion for music and art.
