National Ad Campaign Questions Sprint’s Commitment to Closing Digital Divide

Nov. 1, 2015

The nonprofits that run Mobile Citizen and Mobile Beacon launched a new national advertising campaign questioning Sprint’s commitment to closing the digital divide.

Sprint’s promotional materials position the company as a champion of the digital divide claiming “At Sprint, we believe Internet access should be a basic human right,” while at the same time it plans to disconnect hundreds of thousands of vulnerable children, teachers, parents and senior citizens.
