Nominate the smartest person you know for the Media Ideation Fellowship

Voqal Fund needs your help to find six innovative, social change-makers for the second class of Media Ideation Fellows.

Who’s your best bet to build the next big thing? If you know a smart and savvy technologist, organizer, or media-maker with big ideas for making the world a better place, spend three minutes right now and nominate them for the Media Ideation Fellowship.

All we need is the name and email address of a student, peer, or colleague who has brilliant ideas and potential to create social change. We’ll do the rest.

Why nominate?

Sometimes, a would-be entrepreneur needs an extra push. Your nomination may remind a young woman that her community believes in her work–and be extra bit of encouragement she needs to apply. It’s super easy–all you have to do is enter a name and email address, and we’ll do the rest. Just click here to nominate: [link no longer active]

We’ll follow up with all nominees, giving them early information on the program before applications open on January 6, 2014.

Who should I nominate?

Ideal candidates for the fellowship are driven, tech-savvy social change agents who thrive under self-direction and have a specific idea or project they’d like to pursue. We’re looking for the creators of tomorrow’s Upworthy or Hollaback!

Candidates should be currently enrolled graduate students, have recently received an advanced degree, or are in the first five years of their career. Candidates must be based in the U.S. and have U.S. citizenship.

What happens next?

We will reach out to nominees before applications open on January 06, 2014 to send them a message of support. They will need to choose whether or not to apply. Click here for more information about the fellowships.
