Voqal is dedicated to helping our staff and their families, our partners, and our community stay healthy by doing whatever is needed to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, COVID-19.

In order to assist in controlling the impact of the novel coronavirus, we are taking a number of preventative measures.

  • Remote Working: Starting March 16th all Voqal employees (with the exception of a very small rotating staff) will work remotely. We believe this will have minimal effect on our day-to-day operations.
  • Staff travel: We are eliminating all work-related travel until further notice. We plan on relying on video and phone conferencing, as well as email, to continue conducting business with our board members and other partners across the country.
  • Paid Time Off: Voqal is providing paid time off for staff dealing with life disruptions related to COVID-19 including sick family member care and childcare needs resulting from school and daycare closures.

While a small rotating staff will be on hand to gather mail and package delivery, we suspect there will be some delay in responding to this type of communication. Please contact us by email for the quickest response.

We hope these precautionary measures are helpful to all our community members. If you have feedback or questions, please contact Voqal chief communications officer, Kristen Perry at kperry@voqal.org.
