We would like to say a fond farewell to Voqal board member, Frances “Pancha” Valdez who resigned from the board at the end of July.
Pancha joined the Voqal board in 1993 and has spent the past twenty-seven years providing valuable insight and leadership to the organization as it has continued to evolve and grow over the past three decades.
“Over these many years, Pancha has provided a wealth of insight to Voqal in our journey towards creating a more socially equitable world for all. Among her many talents, she has an amazing ability to listen to an entire meeting’s proceedings and synthesize the key decisions in a couple of sentences. We are truly sad to see her go but understand that she has other priorities in life now,” said Voqal President John Schwartz.
We sincerely thank Pancha for her many years of service to Voqal and wish her the best of luck in all of her future endeavors.
