Two Great Opportunities for Nonprofit Professionals from Mobile Citizen Partner NTEN

December 6, 2018

A valued partner of Mobile Citizen (and by extension Voqal), NTEN supports organizations by convening the nonprofit community, offering professional credentials and training and facilitating an open exchange of ideas.

Voqal values the opportunities that arise from a vibrant and collaborative nonprofit community. With that idea in mind, here are two excellent opportunities from NTEN.

The first is the NTEN Digital Inclusion Fellowship.

Launched in 2015 in partnership with Google Fiber, NTEN’s Digital Inclusion Fellowship builds capacity and leadership in nonprofits to bridge the digital divides in their communities. As part of their Fellowship, Fellows create and carry out projects focused on increasing opportunities for individuals to learn essential digital skills in their home areas. Fellows will receive project grants of up to $1000 to help launch their projects.

The application deadline is Thursday, December 20. You can learn more about this program, including how to apply, here.

The second is the NTEN Nonprofit Technology Conference.

The Nonprofit Technology Conference brings together over 2,000 nonprofit professionals for over 100 sessions exploring technologies, strategies and trends in the nonprofit sector, an exhibit hall highlighting the latest nonprofit products and services and networking events every evening. This year’s Nonprofit Technology Conference takes place March 13th – 15th in Portland, Oregon.

These are just a couple of the benefits NTEN provides for the nonprofit community. For more information about NTEN’s work visit nten.org.
