Voqal is proud to announce that it has hired Barbara Hunter to serve as the organization’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As CFO, Barbara is responsible for the financial health of the Voqal companies and the limited liability companies they own. She will serve as a steward of the nonprofit companies’ assets, oversee the accounting and tax processes, and report and analyze performance.
Barbara has nearly 20 years of senior level experience at a mix of corporate, educational and nonprofit organizations. Most recently, Barbara served as the chief financial officer for Susan G. Komen Colorado, an organization dedicated to research, prevention and finding a cure for breast cancer. Barbara holds an MBA in finance and a bachelor’s degree in international business, both from The George Washington University in Washington.
