COLOR Action Fund
Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights Action Fund (COLOR AF) provides a voice on reproductive rights, health and justice for Latinas, their families and allies to lead successful, healthy lives through issue advocacy, voter education and community outreach. With Voqal’s support, COLOR AF is advancing policies that affirm self-determination for Latinx individuals and families.
Mi Familia Vota
Mi Familia Vota is a national civic engagement organization that unites Latino, immigrant and allied communities to promote social and economic justice. Voqal’s support will enable Mi Familia Vota to build upon the organization’s social and economic justice work through continued citizenship workshops, voter registration drives and other voter engagement efforts.
Soul 2 Soul Sisters
Soul 2 Soul Sisters is a fiercely faith-based, Black womxn-led, racial justice organization focused on Black healing and Black liberation. Voqal’s grant will help support the organization’s work to improve reproductive health services for Black womxn and increase Black voter participation.
Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition (CIRC) Action Fund
CIRC Action Fund works to build a strong and thriving Colorado where all residents are treated with dignity and respect and have equal access to a fair and just quality of life and the opportunity to live united with family members. Voqal’s grant will support the organization’s efforts to advocate for fair, human and workable public policy and increase the civic participation of all Americans.
Colorado People’s Action
Colorado People’s Action works to build governing power and to ensure that those most impacted by the issues not only have a seat at the table but lead the decisionmaking processes. Voqal’s grant will help support Colorado People’s Action as they continue to engage people of color and low-propensity voters.
Transformative Leadership for Change
The Transformative Leadership for Change Fellowship is a fellowship program designed to support the leadership of strong, richly diverse, talented and passionate leaders in Colorado who are building healthy, engaged communities with the power to win social justice for low-income, working-class people and communities of color. Voqal’s grant will help Transformative Leadership for Change continue to grow and develop a vibrant network of progressive leaders of color in Colorado.
Colorado Working Families Party
Colorado Working Families Party is a progressive grassroots organization building a multiracial movement of working people to transform America. Voqal’s grant will support the Colorado Working Families Party’s efforts to give local activists the tools and resources needed to have their voices heard.
“We are excited to support these organizations in their work to create a more socially equitable state for all Coloradans,” said Voqal board member, Chet Tchozewski.
